Mindbody API integrations

Connect Mindbody to any other app, or use it from your AI client over MCP. Mindbody is business management software for studios, gyms, spas and salons: scheduling, client records, sales and reporting in one place.

What do you want to automate with Mindbody?

Ask the assistant

You'll sign in before anything runs. What you typed comes with you.

Connect your AI client

Give your AI client this address.

https://mcp.apiant.ai

One connection does both: ask your client to act in an app once, or have it build an automation that keeps running. Any client that takes a remote MCP server. Nothing to install. Create your free account, then sign in once in your browser.

What a Mindbody integration does

Mindbody runs the day for studios, gyms, spas and salons: class and appointment bookings, client profiles, memberships, contracts and sales. A Mindbody integration moves that information to the other tools the business runs on, and back. New clients reach your email platform, bookings show up in your calendar, sales land in your accounts or your own systems, and your reports pull straight from Mindbody instead of from exports.

With APIANT you describe the integration in your own words. Your agent builds it on the Mindbody API, tests every scenario before it ships, then keeps it running and tells you when something needs attention.

Mindbody API integration, without the API work

APIANT connects to the Mindbody API for you. Your agent works with clients, class and appointment bookings, class schedules, sales and sale line items, memberships and contracts, staff, products, packages, gift cards and locations. It can also act in Mindbody: add or update clients, book clients into classes, add appointments and check out a shopping cart.

If you need part of the Mindbody API that is not in the catalog yet, ask, and your agent reads the Mindbody API documentation and adds it.

No Mindbody developer account or developer portal needed

Building on the Mindbody API yourself usually starts in the Mindbody developer portal: register a developer account, build against the sandbox, then get each site's owner to approve your access. With APIANT you skip all of that. Connect with your Mindbody owner login and APIANT handles the developer side.

Already have a Mindbody developer account? You can use your own API key instead. Either way, the free plan lets you connect your site and try it on your real Mindbody data.

Instant Mindbody triggers, through Mindbody webhooks

Many Mindbody triggers in APIANT are instant. Mindbody's webhooks tell APIANT the moment a client is added or updated, a class or appointment is booked, changed or cancelled, a sale is made, or a membership or contract starts or ends. The automation runs on that event, not on a timer.

Other triggers check Mindbody on a schedule, which suits things like upcoming classes, completed appointments and nightly catch-up runs. Your agent picks the right one for what you describe.

Use Mindbody from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

APIANT's MCP server at https://mcp.apiant.ai works with Mindbody. Add the address to your AI client and sign in once, and you can ask for something in Mindbody right away (this week's new clients, today's bookings, last month's sales by service), or have APIANT build an automation that keeps running on its own.

Studio owners have built member reports, calendar syncs and sales hand-offs from their AI client this way. The customer stories below show how.

Popular Mindbody integrations

These are the connections Mindbody businesses ask for most. Each one is a starting point: describe your own rules and your agent builds to them.

Mindbody and Google Calendar

Keep a calendar in step with Mindbody bookings and staff time blocks, one way, without touching Mindbody. A wellness spa runs exactly this and checks the coming months of blocks every few minutes.

Mindbody and ActiveCampaign

Add new Mindbody clients to your email list and tag each contact with the classes, sessions and memberships they actually buy, without overwriting unsubscribes or bounces.

Mindbody and HubSpot

Sync Mindbody clients, visits, sales and memberships into HubSpot so your marketing and follow-up run on what clients really do in the studio.

Mindbody and Google Sheets

Send each Mindbody sale to a register or report in a spreadsheet, sorted by your own rules, and write checked details back to the client in Mindbody.

Mindbody and Shopify

Connect a Shopify store to Mindbody: keep products and services in step between the two, and bring Shopify customers and orders into Mindbody so they match the right client.

Mindbody and Stripe

When a charge, customer or subscription lands in Stripe, add or update the client in Mindbody and record the sale against them, so payments taken outside Mindbody still show up on the client's profile.

Mindbody and Mailchimp

Add new Mindbody clients to a Mailchimp audience and tag them with what they book and buy, or bring Mailchimp profile changes back to the client in Mindbody.

Facebook Lead Ads and Mindbody

When someone fills in the form on your Facebook or Instagram lead ad, add them to Mindbody as a client the moment the lead arrives, checked against the clients you already have, so the front desk can follow up while the interest is fresh.

Mindbody and Zoom

Create a Zoom meeting for each upcoming virtual class in Mindbody, ready to share with the people booked into it.

Mindbody and your accounting

Move Mindbody sales into QuickBooks Online or Xero so the books match the front desk without retyping.

Mindbody and your own systems

Send the right Mindbody events to your own app or database the moment they happen, for example only a client's first package sale, with the client's details attached.

Mindbody website integration: your forms, straight into Mindbody

Most studios collect interest on their own website before anyone books: a trial-class form, a contact form, a waiver. A Mindbody website integration turns each submission into a client in Mindbody, checked against existing clients by email or phone first, so the front desk does not retype it and nobody ends up in Mindbody twice.

Jotform to Mindbody

Each new Jotform submission adds or updates the client in Mindbody, with the answers you choose copied to their profile.

Wix to Mindbody

New Wix form submissions and contacts arrive in Mindbody the moment they are created, and Mindbody clients can be kept as Wix contacts the other way.

Webflow to Mindbody

Send each Webflow form submission to Mindbody as a new client, ready for the front desk to follow up.

WordPress to Mindbody

When someone registers on your WordPress site, add them to Mindbody as a client.

Mindbody phone and text integration

Calls and texts are where many bookings start. Connect your phone system to Mindbody so a call or a text can be matched to the client who sent it, and so the right people get a text when something happens in Mindbody.

Twilio and Mindbody

When a call or a text comes in on your Twilio number, look the caller up in Mindbody by phone number. In the other direction, schedule a text through Twilio when a client books, cancels or is due for a class.

Dialpad and Mindbody

Add each new Mindbody client to your Dialpad contacts, so the team's phone system knows the people Mindbody knows.

How it works

Connect Mindbody

Sign in with your Mindbody owner login. Connect the other apps in the flow the same way.

Describe what should happen

Say it the way you would tell a colleague: what starts it, what should happen in each app, and what must never change. Ask in the APIANT assistant or from your own AI client.

Your agent builds and tests it

It builds the automation, tests every scenario before it ships, and switches it on when you say so. Then it keeps an eye on it and recommends changes.

Built for studios, gyms, spas and salons

Owners use it for the reports Mindbody does not give them, like which members are drifting away or which intro offers turn into memberships. Front desks stop retyping clients and sales into other tools. Marketing gets segments built from real visits and purchases. Finance gets sales into the books without exports.

You decide what each automation may touch. Reports and calendar syncs can read Mindbody without changing anything in it, and an automation that writes back can be limited to updating existing clients and never blanking a field.

Questions

Mindbody, answered

What is a Mindbody integration?

A connection between Mindbody and another app that moves data automatically: new clients to your email platform, bookings to your calendar, sales to your accounts or your own systems. With APIANT you describe it in plain words and your agent builds, tests and runs it.

Does Mindbody have an API?

Yes. Mindbody has a public API for clients, classes, appointments, sales, memberships and more, plus webhooks for real-time events. APIANT works with both for you, so you do not need to write code against it.

Where is the Mindbody API documentation?

Mindbody publishes its API documentation on the Mindbody developer portal, at developers.mindbodyonline.com. You do not need to read it to use APIANT: your agent works from it for you, and when an operation you need is not in the catalog yet, it reads the documentation and adds it.

Do I need a Mindbody developer account to connect?

No. You connect with your Mindbody owner login, and APIANT handles the developer side of the Mindbody API for you. If you already have a Mindbody developer account and would rather use your own API key, you can.

How much does it cost to use the Mindbody API with APIANT?

You do not need your own Mindbody API subscription. Mindbody API usage is included in your APIANT plan. The free plan covers connecting your site and trying it on your real data, and heavier use, like large scheduled reports, needs a paid plan. See pricing for what each plan includes.

Can I try the Mindbody integration on the free plan?

Yes. Connect your Mindbody site, ask for something once and test an automation on your real Mindbody data before choosing a plan. When your automations need more, upgrade and carry on where you left off. See pricing for what each plan includes.

Does Mindbody support webhooks?

Yes. Mindbody sends webhook events for things like new and updated clients, class and appointment bookings and cancellations, sales, and memberships and contracts. APIANT's instant Mindbody triggers run on those events.

Is Mindbody a CRM?

Mindbody keeps client profiles, visits and purchases, but it is built to run bookings and payments rather than marketing and sales follow-up. Many studios connect it to a dedicated CRM or email platform, such as HubSpot or ActiveCampaign, so campaigns run on Mindbody data.

Can I connect Mindbody to Google Calendar?

Yes. Your agent can keep a Google Calendar in step with Mindbody appointments and staff time blocks, one way, without changing anything in Mindbody.

Can I connect Mindbody to HubSpot or ActiveCampaign?

Yes. New Mindbody clients can be added as contacts, and each contact can be tagged or updated with the classes, sessions, memberships and purchases they actually have, without overwriting unsubscribes.

Is there a Mindbody Shopify integration?

Yes. Your agent can keep products and services in step between Shopify and Mindbody, and bring Shopify customers and orders into Mindbody so they match the clients you already have.

Can I send Facebook lead ads to Mindbody?

Yes. Each new lead from your Facebook or Instagram lead ad form can be added to Mindbody as a client, matched first by email or phone against the clients you already have.

Can I connect Mindbody to my website?

Yes. Form submissions from Jotform, Wix or Webflow, and new registrations on WordPress, can be added to Mindbody as clients, checked first against the clients you already have so nobody is entered twice.

Can Mindbody connect to my phone system or send text messages?

Yes. With Twilio, an incoming call or text can be matched to the Mindbody client by phone number, and a text can be scheduled when a client books, cancels or is due for a class. New Mindbody clients can also be added to your Dialpad contacts.

Can I build Mindbody reports?

Yes. Ask for the report you want, for example members who have not visited lately or new intro-offer clients this week, and your agent builds it from your Mindbody data, as a one-off or on a schedule. Reports only read Mindbody.

Can an automation only read my Mindbody data?

Yes. Tell your agent what it may touch. Reports and syncs out of Mindbody can be read-only, and anything that writes back can be limited, for example to updating existing clients without blanking fields.

How long does a Mindbody integration take to set up?

Often the same day. Several studio owners in the stories on this page had their first automation tested within an hour of signing up.

What if the Mindbody operation I need is not listed?

Ask for it. Your agent reads the Mindbody API documentation and adds the operation, then builds your automation on it.

Is there a Mindbody MCP server?

Yes. APIANT's MCP server at https://mcp.apiant.ai works with Mindbody. Add that address to any AI client that takes a remote MCP server, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, sign in once in your browser, and your client can run Mindbody actions on demand or have APIANT build, test and run automations that use Mindbody. Nothing to install.

Which apps can Mindbody connect to?

Any app in the APIANT catalog, including Google Calendar, Google Sheets, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Salesforce, Shopify, Zoom, QuickBooks Online and Xero. If an app is missing, point your agent at its API documentation and it builds the connector.

What happens when a Mindbody automation fails?

Your agent plans the failure paths along with the happy path and tests every scenario before it ships. Once it runs, failed runs are reported to you, and your agent can find the cause and fix it.
